Organisers of the 2026 Isle of Man TT have announced the death of competitor Daniel Ingham following a crash at Doran’s Bend during Wednesday night’s qualifying session.

The incident at Doran’s, a fast left hander leading into the Glen Helen section, occurred before the red flags brought a premature halt to the night’s proceedings after a crash for the Crowe brothers in the following sidecar session.

Dan was a TT debutant in 2026, but had enjoyed considerable previous success around the Mountain course since making his debut on it a decade ago, most notably winning the Senior Manx Grand Prix in 2024.

The Race joins the wider racing fraternity in wishing our deepest condolences to Dan’s wife Helayna, his son Joey and daughter Phoebe, and his family, friends, and team.

The Crowe brothers’ condition has been described as conscious and talking, with Ryan receiving treatment for arm injuries and Callum for shoulder injuries.

Maria Costello remains serious but stable, and her sidecar passenger Shau Parker continues to receive treatment for chest, leg, arm and facial injuries following their crash on Tuesday.
