AN ISLE of Wight man will stand trial later this year, accused of being in charge of a vehicle while drunk and assaulting two staff members at a nearby pub.
Alan Patrick, of The Fairway, Sandown, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, June 20.
The 61-year-old is charged with two counts of common assault, at the Merrie Gardens pub in Lake, on June 4.
He is also accused of being in charge of a motor vehicle while over the alcohol limit on the same day.
Mr Patrick saw his case adjourned for a trial at the same venue on September 28.
