In the past, we’ve seen team radios hacked by outsiders. In this case, that wasn’t the case.
During the final stage of the race, Ryan Blaney’s team radio was invaded. It appears a radio was left in the driver’s bus and a kid jumped on the radio to pump up the driver.
While rolling under caution. A tiny voice was on the team radio, “Hey Ryan! Win this race.”
Blaney responded, “Mom, get Cody off the scanner.”
The crew laughed.
Blaney added, “He found another scanner in the bus. Found out how to turn it one. Pretty smart.”
The crew confirmed, “Pretty awesome.”
