The Ferrari SF90 is a benchmark of performance for supercars stands, delivering exceptional performance even by drag racing standards. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, paired with three electric motors, produces 1,000 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, distributed efficiently through an all-wheel-drive system and 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In a recent carwow drag race, the SF90 faces two unlikely competitors: a modified Volkswagen Golf R and a tuned BMW M240i. In stock form, neither car would stand a chance. However, both have undergone extreme modifications. The Golf R now houses a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine from the Audi RS3, heavily upgraded to deliver 1,048 horsepower and 1,114 Nm of torque, channelled through a 7-speed dual-clutch system and all-wheel drive.

The BMW M240i, while retaining its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, has also been reengineered to produce 1,014 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
