TWO drivers from the Amman and Tywi Valleys were recently in court for driving offences.
Offences include driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without due care and attention.
Kelly Louise Rebecca Penston, 43, of King Edwards Road, Tairgwaith, admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence at Llanelli Magistrates Court on April 28 and was handed her sentence on May 26.
She admitted that on February 5, she drove a Vauxhall Grandland on New Road, Ammanford, when she did not have a supervising qualified driver nor was displaying L plates as is required with a provisional licence.
She was banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £40 fine, £16 surcharge and £90 costs.
Peter Roberts, 63, of Y Trallwng, Llandeilo, admitted driving without due care and attention at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 14.
He admitted that on December 14, he drove a Nissan Qashqai on Heol Parc Mawr, Cross Hands without due care and attention.
He was given five points on his licence and ordered to pay £80 fine, £32 surcharge and £110 costs.
