Behold the 2017 Citroen C4 Cactus, a crossover that largely exists to make the Pontiac Aztek feel better about itself.

Don’t want door dings? Just strap huge black plastic panels with “airbump” humps to the side of your car. Yes, the C4 Cactus has airbags on the outside of the car. Then attach some similar panels to the front, and add a random array of different lighting technologies.

For 2018, Citroen refreshed the C4 Cactus, and the airbumps are gone. While the C4 Cactus is a popular vehicle in several markets around the world, it is not available in the U.S.
