  • The Nissan 1960 Club is coming to the new Nissan Stadium in Tennessee.
  • Upscale venue is all-inclusive and can accommodate 550 people.
  • Sold-out club will have on-field viewing area as well as Nissan memorabilia.

The Tennessee Titans haven’t had a winning season since 2021 and the past two years have been particularly appalling as they’ve only managed to secure three wins. Given that, it’s little surprise the team reportedly saw a 9.1% drop in attendance last year.

Despite approaching Detroit Lions level of terrible, the Titans are getting a brand-new stadium named after Nissan. It’s scheduled to be completed in February of next year and the automaker recently provided a look at one of the venue’s swanky new clubs.

Called the Nissan 1960 Club, the upscale establishment is named after the year Nissan was established in the United States as well as the year the Titans were founded as the Houston Oilers. It’ll be located at field level, along the home sideline, and can accommodate up to 550 fans.

The club has a “speakeasy aesthetic” and will sport a golden private entrance with lettering inspired by Nissan’s 1960 wordmark. Once inside, renderings suggest visitors will find a rectangular bar, multiple seating areas, and numerous TVs. There’s also an “on-field viewing” area as well as artifacts from both Nissan and the Titans. Speaking of the latter, we can see a subtle nod to Yutaka Katayama, who was Nissan’s first US President as well as the ‘father’ of the Z sports car.

Additional information about the club will be released closer to its opening, but the automaker said fans can expect an “all-inclusive food and beverage experience” that will be available for both home games as well as concerts and other events at the stadium. Unfortunately, getting in will be a problem as access to the Nissan 1960 Club is sold-out.

That’s a bummer, but Nissan’s Allyson Witherspoon said the club “celebrates more than 65 years of innovation, performance and passion, and brings it to life in a way that feels unmistakably Nissan.” She added the “partnership with the Titans is personal” as their U.S. headquarters are located nearby in Franklin.
