Porsche’s new Cayenne Electric debuts as part of the brand’s mixed powertrain strategy, sold alongside V6, V8, and hybrid Cayennes. The EV rides on a new platform designed for efficiency, performance, and rapid charging.

The lineup is expected to include a 400bhp base model, a ~600bhp S, and the Turbo with 1,140bhp. The Turbo produces 845bhp normally, with an extra 173bhp available via push-to-pass or launch control. Top figures include 0–62mph in 2.5 seconds and 161mph.

Inside, a curved central display, optional passenger screen, OLED instrument cluster, and wide head-up display form the core interface. The cabin adds a wrist-support “Ferry Pad,” programmable glass roof, improved rear space, and a 781-litre boot plus 90-litre frunk.

Top Gear conducts a full evaluation of the Cayenne Turbo Electric, highlighting its 1,140bhp output, 2.5-second 0–62mph time, and the depth of engineering behind its active aerodynamics, charging systems, and redesigned cabin.
