Organisers of Europe’s biggest Japanese car show, Japfest, have introduced a dedicated land train designed to give show goers a first class way to see the show.

The land train, dubbed the Japfest Bullet, has been introduced to help show goers navigate the show’s vast landscape. Yes, Japfest is that BIG it needs its own transportation system – there’s not another show in the UK you can say that about! The land train won’t be whisking show goers around at 200mph, like Japan’s iconic Shinkansen bullet trains, but it will ensure attendees can easily explore Europe’s biggest Japanese car show.

In 2023, Japfest was forced to adapt to a new layout due to building works on Silverstone’s infield. Although this failed to derail the event it resulted in the show being held on two sides of the circuit, making it more time consuming and demanding for the public to see the 3500 display cars and event highlights, such as the amazing Drift Kings competition. The land train has been brought in to help negate this problem and will be making continuous loops during the show.

They’ll be convenient stops at key attractions, including the Luffield grandstands for Japfest’s thrilling Drift Kings competition, Street Elite display, the bustling Retail Village, Drift Taxis Sign On and multiple Club Zones. This transportation option will ensure attendees can see the entire event without missing any of the spectacular Japanese car culture on display.

Public tickets for Japfest Silverstone are still available from here, with adult public tickets priced at £30 and children aged 0-14 entering for free. With display passes already sold out and significant public interest, the land train represents a clever solution to help the expected 25,000 strong crowd maximise their Japfest experience.
