The DeTomaso Mangusta is a classic Italian sports car that was built between 1967 and 1971 in Modena.

Designed by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro at Carrozzeria Ghia, it’s instantly recognizable thanks to its sleek mid-engine layout and unique gullwing-style rear engine cover. The Mangusta was the brainchild of Alejandro De Tomaso, an Argentine-born racing driver who went on to establish De Tomaso Automobili in Italy. With only about 400 ever made, this rare beast came with a 4.7-liter V8 pumping out around 305 horsepower, giving it a top speed north of 160 mph.
