Following the pre-race incident in Malaysia, the CIP Green Power team offer another positive update
On Wednesday the 29th of October, the CIP Green Power team posted the positive news the whole MotoGP community was waiting to hear: Noah Dettwiler is now in stable, not critical, condition.
The Swiss rider was involved in a pre-race incident on the sighting lap with reigning Moto3™ Champion Jose Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) that saw both riders taken to hospital via medical helicopter. Rueda was confirmed as alert and awake later on Sunday, with a fracture in his hand and a number of contusions. He has now moved to another hospital to continue to monitor his condition before a planned return to Spain on Thursday for surgery on his hand injury.
Dettwiler underwent surgeries on Sunday evening, and since, the CIP Green Power team have offered a number of updates. The most recent on Wednesday confirms he’s no longer in critical condition and is stable. Everyone at MotoGP is thinking of him, his family and the CIP team, and we'll continue to offer updates in coordination with CIP.
