- Toyota has introduced the 2026 Tacoma, which features minor updates.
- Buyers will find new colors, a standard tow hitch, and styling tweaks.
- Pricing starts at $32,145 and most trims appear to climb by $215.
The Toyota Tacoma is the best-selling mid-size truck in America and it’s rolling into 2026 with a handful of minor updates. Unfortunately, pricing has also climbed as the model begins at $32,145 before a $1,595 destination fee.
That’s up from $31,590 for an increase of $555. This is a relatively small jump and buyers of the entry-level SR XtraCab will find a newly standard tow hitch. This means the price hike is pretty reasonable as last year’s towing package cost $540.

Additional changes are limited, but the TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, and TRD PreRunner now have a black Toyota logo on the grille. It replaces the previous chrome design.
Furthermore, the Tacoma TRD Off-Road i-Force with the Premium Package now has 18-inch TRD wheels wrapped in 32-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires.
Rounding out the highlights are two new exterior colors. Heritage Blue is now available on an assortment of trims, while the TRD Pro gains an exclusive color known as Wave Maker.
Getting back to pricing, most variants cost slightly more than last year’s model. The SR5 is up $15, while the PreRunner climbs $215. The Limited, Trailhunter, and TRD Pro also see a $215 increase.
As a refresher, the Tacoma is available in XtraCab and DoubleCab configurations with 5’ and 6’ beds. Customers will also find a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing up to 278 hp (207 kW / 282 PS) and 318 lb-ft (431 Nm) of torque.
Most versions come with an eight-speed automatic, but a six-speed manual remains available.
