Today, the NASCAR Mexico Series hosted the season finale event at Miguel E. Abed International Raceway in Puebla
The driver of the No. 22 Santiago Tovar crashed on the final lap, finding the tire barrier. The car was stuck in the barrier.
The first safety car arrived quickly and the safety crew crushed out toward the driver. Just as they approached the racecar, a second safety vehicle arrived.
The second safety vehicle was unable to stop. It crashed directly into the parked racecar.
