There are some cars that you look at and wonder what on earth the manufacturer was thinking, like the heinous Pontiac Aztek, the hideous Fiat Multipla, or more recently, the pointless Nissan CrossCabriolet...  Convertibles are usually attractive to look at - this one one looks like a bath tub on wheels. Sporty? Far from it, and aren't SUVs supposed to have some sort of utility? Because the CrossCabriolet could carry less cargo than some compact cars.

It also came with a base price of nearly $45,000. Nissan discontinued the model in 2014, after dropping the price several thousands of dollars.

Here’s the really strange thing: People still want them. Their used car prices are holding stronger than most SUVs’. It might be because Nissan simply didn’t make many of them or that the only real competitor – the 2018 Range Rover Evoque Convertible – has a base price of $52,100.
