Earlier this year, Richard Childress Racing picked up the contract renewal option on Kyle Busch. Busch will remain in the No. 8 car for the 2026 season.

However, he’ll have a new crew chief.

Randall Burnett is the current crew chief for Kyle Busch at RCR. For 2026, Burnett has a new deal with Trackhouse Racing.

The team made the announcement today. Burnett will serve as the crew chief for Connor Zilisch in the NASCAR Cup Series rookie season.

Burnett has also worked with Tyler Reddick and A.J. Allmendinger.
