The 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 revives one of the brand’s most iconic names with a modern hybrid twist. Limited to just 112 examples—a nod to the original Countach’s “LP112” development code—the LPI 800-4 pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 producing 770 horsepower with a 48-volt electric motor adding 34 horsepower, for a combined 803 horsepower.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed ISR automated manual gearbox, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 221 mph. It is built on the same carbon-fibre monocoque as the Sián FKP 37 and uses a supercapacitor system that delivers three times the power density of comparable lithium-ion setups.
Its dramatic wedge-shaped silhouette, scissor doors, and roofline inspired by the LP400 Periscopio pay tribute to the 1970s original while maintaining the aggressive stance expected from a Lamborghini.
This example, finished in Rosso Scintilla with carbon-fibre accents and white-and-black leather upholstery, features 20-inch front and 21-inch rear centre-lock wheels, complemented by carbon-ceramic brakes.
The interior features a combination of white and black leather with carbon-fiber inlays, “Countach” branding, and modern amenities, including a digital dashboard, an 8.4-inch infotainment system, selectable drive modes, adaptive suspension, and a photochromatic glass roof.
The car has had two owners since new, with the engine and gearbox replaced under warranty. Recently serviced at Lamborghini Edinburgh, this ultra-rare Countach is currently available for sale on Collecting Cars with just 6,526 miles on the odometer.
