The Mercedes-AMG ONE is a rare, plug-in hybrid hypercar integrating Formula One technology into a road-legal platform. First revealed in concept form at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show by Lewis Hamilton, who also contributed to its development, the production model was unveiled in 2022, with just 275 units hand-built and sold out before production began.
The ONE features a mid-mounted 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 derived from Mercedes’ 2015 F1 car, paired with four electric motors for a total output of 1,049 hp. These motors feature energy recovery systems, such as the MGU-K and MGU-H from F1, which contribute to regenerative braking and enhanced turbo response. An 800V battery enables an 11-mile electric-only range, and power is sent through a seven-speed single-clutch transmission to a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system.
The Mercedes-AMG ONE accelerates from 0–62 mph in 2.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 219 mph. In November 2022, it became the fastest road-legal car around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, completing a 6:35.183 lap despite damp sections. It also set production car lap records at the Nürburgring GP (1:56.096), Hockenheimring (1:38.563), Red Bull Ring (1:26.846), and Monza (1:43.902).
This exceptionally rare and highly sought-after Mercedes-AMG ONE has been owned by a single individual since it was new and was first registered in the UK on June 1, 2023. It features an extensive specification list, including AMG ceramic composite brakes, AMG Ride Control suspension, LED lights, Parktronic with cameras, Keyless-Go, a motorsport-tuned MBUX system, AMG sound system, 3-stage ESP, and Acceleration Skid Control.
The car is equipped with the Motorsport Styling Package, a cosmetic upgrade worth £85,000. This includes an exceptional AMG Silver Arrow paint finish, Petronas Green accents, AMG magnesium wheels in gloss black, and exclusive logos and trim.
With only 100 miles on the odometer, this near-new hypercar is set to cross the auction block at Bonhams Cars on July 11, with an estimated value between $3,200,000 and $3,800,000—offering a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most exclusive performance machines ever built.
