Unfortunately, Aleix Espargaro suffered a cycling accident a few days ago. While it initially seemed minor, he arrived at the track on Thursday morning with back pain and medical examinations have revealed that his L3 vertebra is affected. He is now returning to Barcelona to undergo further tests.

Given the circumstances, and as was the case with the Austrian GP, the IDEMITSU Honda LCR team have confirmed that Chantra will not be replaced this weekend in Hungary either.
