Enzo Ferrari was once approached by the parents of Francesco Baracca, a celebrated World War One pilot whose plane featured a prancing horse on its fuselage.
The parents asked Enzo to use the stallion emblem on his cars for good luck, and he accepted the request. To create his emblem, Enzo added a yellow backing, which symbolized the hometown of Maranello. Since then, the prancing horse has become an iconic symbol of Ferrari, encapsulating the brand's racing heritage and prestige.
