Kia Elevates Compact EV SUV Segment with Innovative EV3
Kia is raising the bar for compact electric SUVs with the all-new EV3, bringing the brand's cutting-edge technology and design philosophy from its flagship EV9 to a smaller, more accessible package. The EV3 aims to exceed expectations and broaden the appeal of EVs through its bold styling, spacious interior, class-leading range, and advanced features typically reserved for larger vehicles.

Striking Design Inspired by Nature

The EV3's progressive exterior draws inspiration from Kia's "Opposites United" design ethos, harmoniously blending natural and modern elements. Its muscular stance is accentuated by vertical headlamps, a reimagined "Tiger Face" with star map lighting signature, and a sleek, sloping roofline. Nine exterior colors are available, including two new exclusive shades.

Inside, the cabin prioritizes open space, comfort and functionality. Sustainable recycled materials create a nature-inspired aesthetic, complemented by multi-adjustable ambient lighting and relaxing seats with a fold-back mode. A sliding center console table enables work or dining on the go.

Class-Leading Range and Ultra-Fast Charging

Underpinned by Kia's E-GMP platform, the EV3 offers a choice of 58.3kWh or 81.4kWh battery packs paired with a 150kW electric motor. The range-topping Long Range model can travel up to an estimated 600km on a single charge - a best-in-class figure for the compact EV SUV segment.

When it's time to recharge, the EV3's advanced battery system enables ultra-rapid 10-80% charging in just 31 minutes. Aerodynamic enhancements like an active air flap and full underbody cover maximize efficiency.

Premium Technology from Larger Kia EVs

Despite its compact footprint, the EV3 packs an array of premium technologies typically found on larger, more expensive EVs. Advanced driver aids like Highway Driving Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and a 12-inch head-up display elevate safety and convenience.

Kia's new i-Pedal 3.0 one-pedal driving system maximizes regenerative braking. Vehicle-to-Load charging allows powering external devices like laptops or camping gear. The EV3 is also the first model to feature Kia's AI Assistant for intuitive voice controls.

A widescreen digital cockpit, premium audio, and streaming entertainment content via LG's webOS platform create an immersive, living space-like cabin experience. Unique customization options like NBA team display themes are available too.

With the innovative EV3, Kia is enhancing electric vehicle accessibility and accelerating its transition to becoming a sustainable mobility solutions provider. The EV3 launches first in Korea this July, followed by Europe in the second half of 2024 as part of Kia's "a moving power" brand campaign highlighting its design and tech leadership.
