Inside the world's LARGEST CAR AUCTION! Can we win cars in Japan’s crazy trade sale?
In this video we lift the curtain on the crazy car auction where the cars sold are more automotive museum than trade sale. There’s one of nearly every car you can think of, and probably another five of them parked just around the corner.
Car dealers get around the site on bikes and buses to check out the cars before the insane sales start in two humongous auction halls.
These have twin screen set-ups at more than 3,000 desks in two giant halls for car dealers to attempt to win cars in the blink of an eye. Some 16 lanes run simultaneously as buyers place their bids with furious button pressing.
The quality of the cars are incredible. Japanese drivers look after their cars fastidiously and it shows – most look like new.
