Shelby American has taken the wraps off their “redesigned” F-250 Super Baja. It’s a rugged, six-figure pickup based on a fully loaded F-250 Lariat equipped with the Ultimate package.
Looking anything but subtle, the truck features a new air induction hood that resides above a custom painted grille with Shelby badging. Further below, there’s a powder-coated steel bumper sporting integrated recovery points and a 40-inch light bar.

The team also gave the truck extended fender flares, Shelby-branded fender vents, and power deployable running boards with rock sliders and lights. They’re joined by body stripes, bed side graphics, and 20-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich tires.
Other highlights include a Shelby Baja chase rack with two spare tires and a new nine-pod light bar. Buyers will also find a bed liner, powder-coated exhaust tips, and a beefy rear bumper with LED reverse lights.
The changes are more than skin deep as the F-250 has been equipped with a new King Shocks suspension that “increases the ride height, delivers more travel, and transforms how the truck responds to the road.” Shelby was coy on specifics, but said there are adjustable front coilovers, rear piggyback shocks, dual steering stabilizers, and 2-inch tubular radius arms.
Interior pictures weren’t released, but buyers will find special leather seat covers, carbon fiber trim, and billet pedals. They’re accompanied by embroidered floor mats and a center console badge.
Power comes from a high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel engine, which presumably produces 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 1,200 lb-ft (1,625 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system.
Pricing starts at $159,795, which includes the price of the base truck that costs around $97,000 by itself. Production will be limited to 250 units and the model will become the first Shelby built at the company’s new facility in Bristol, Indiana.
