Former NASCAR teammates Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez had an altercation in the pit lane after the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. After the finish of the race, there was some drama on-track and on the pit lane.

After crossing the finish line, Daniel Suarez pulled alongside Ross Chastain with his hand out the window. Chastain then swerved into him.
When drivers pulled to the pit lane, Suarez climbed from his car and started walking toward the No. 1 car. He met Chastain just as he was climbing from his car.
The two appeared to have a heated exchange with a lot of finger pointing. Suarez then put his hands on Chastain before being shoved away.

“We got together a little bit out of corner two and he was made about it,” Daniel Suarez told Frontstretch in the video below.
“I was having a conversation. He was always spun out.”
“Our relationship has always been very weird. Like, a little bit of two-faced. Today, I saw what I thought he had in his mind, for awhile.”
“I don’t have any hard feelings to anyone. I’m just doing my thing. But, he just thinks that way.”
Suarez and Chastain have some history. Both drivers were formerly teammates at Trackhouse Racing before Suarez recently split from the team for the 2026 season.

Daniel Suarez tells reporters that he and Ross Chastain’s relationship,
“has always been a little weird…a little two-faced.”
The two were teammates at Trackhouse for many years…
