Due to weather, the opening race of the 2026 NASCAR season at Bowman Gray Stadium has been postponed to Monday. NASCAR Cup Series drivers are set for the 1/4-mile track in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
On Monday morning, teams will hit the track for the first time. The qualifying and practice groups have been set via the owners standings.
Each group will get three sessions on the track. The third and final session will be used to determine qualifying results.
The top 20 after qualifying transfer directly into the main event. For drivers outside the top 20 after qualifying, they’ll go into the LCQ race. Heat races have been removed from the schedule.
