NASCAR cheerleaders are making their debut this weekend. You might have already seen them as they were on the stage during driver intros for the Daytona Duels.
They’re called the NASCAR Ignition Crew.
This new cheerleading crew is a first for NASCAR. The new crew will put a fresh spin on fan engagement throughout the race weekend.
They will be at every race in 2026.
Malia Stokes stated, “I’m so excited to announce the debut of the Ignition Crew, NASCAR’s first ever professional cheerleading team!”
She added, “It’s an honor to be a part of this new journey and I can’t wait to kick off race season.”
The Daytona 500 is scheduled for Sunday February 15th.
