The #36 will have two Long Laps on Sunday after the FIM MotoGP Stewards observed him not respecting the black flag with orange disc

Joan Mir (Honda HRC Castrol) has been given a double Long Lap penalty for an incident in FP2 at the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Spain.

Mir crashed in the wet and rejoined but with a damaged machine. When shown the black flag with an orange disc, he failed to leave the track immediately as required by the rules.

For not respecting that flag, he's been issued the double Long Lap, which will apply to the Grand Prix race only - not the Tissot Sprint.
