1,100 miles of racing in one day; She will become the first driver to make the attempt at both races
Katherine Legge will drive the No. 11 HMD Motorsports/AJ Foyt Racing Chevrolet in the Indy 500. That deal was previously announced. It will be her fifth appearance in the Indianapolis 500.
Now, it’s been announced that the 45-year-old will also drive for Live Fast Motorsports in the Coca-Cola 600 via the No. 78 car.
Legge will become the sixth driver to attempt both races in the same day, weather permitting. She’ll become the first woman driver to make the attempt at all 1,100 miles.
Kyle Larson was the most recent driver to make a start in both races in 2025.
