A man has been praised for his petty revenge on an entitled driver who hogged two parking spaces with his Jeep in a packed public car park.
He described how the driver parked across two bays, apparently to ensure nobody parked too close to his vehicle and risked causing damage. But upon spotting the selfish manoeuvre in an already heaving car park, the man decided to teach him a lesson in basic courtesy.
The cheeky stranger squeezed his compact car into the space beside the Jeep, ensuring his vehicle remained within the lines and didn't make contact with the other car. Then, he sat back and waited for the drama to unfold.
Sharing the tale on Reddit, he said: "My coworker friend and I met up at the mall after work to hang out. We noticed a fancy Jeep taking up two prime spots and, since we had time, we decided to play a little game.
"I parked my small car in the spot on the left perfectly within the lines - and because of the Jeep's position, my car blocked them from getting into the driver's side.
"Then I hopped into my friend's car across the lot and we waited. We wanted to witness our petty revenge firsthand."
They continued: "It would have just been a simple 'haha' because all they had to do was climb in through the passenger side - but after we got comfy in her car, it got even better.
"Someone else saw what I did and copied me in the spot on the right. Now the Jeep owner had no way of getting into their vehicle except through the back hatch."
Just moments later, the driver came back to the car park with his girlfriend - only to discover their vehicle had been completely boxed in.
The man continued: "Fast forward a few minutes and the guy and his girlfriend come out. They walked around for a bit, throwing their arms up like 'what do we do now?'".
"Eventually the bald beefcake boyfriend made his girlfriend climb through the back hatch in her pink miniskirt so she could reverse it out. 10/10 - worth the wait."
Responding to the post, one user said: "Fantastic. Those double-spot people will have a special place in hell. Too bad it wasn't during the cell phone era - that video would have been priceless!"
Another commented: "The fact he made his girlfriend climb through the car for his convenience is exactly what I'd expect from someone who parks like that."
And a third added: "Omg. I worship you! Game played brilliantly."
