Martin Järveoja has raised over €25,000 in support of a children’s charity by raffling off his Rally Estonia helmet.
The 2019 world champion, co-driver to Ott Tänak, wore a special design at his home round of the World Rally Championship as part of an ‘Every Dream Counts’ campaign.
A total of €26,042 [$30,572.40] was raised through donations, with Järveoja and his children announcing the winner of the helmet – including signatures of service park figures like rally winner Oliver Solberg – on his Instagram.
“This is a huge contribution for the treatment of severely ill children and making dreams come true,” Järveoja said.
“Thank you to each and every one of you who donated, shared, cheered. You gave this helmet a bigger meaning – and more importantly, you gave hope to those who needed it most.
“A deep bow to the Children’s Foundation and all supporters. Thank you for believing. Thank you for helping out.”
