Enter three former Tesla employees—Harry Fox, Connor Selwood, and Hugh Leckie—who took their experience from launching over 100 Supercharger sites across the UK and Ireland and used it to create something new. Hubber isn’t just talking about future solutions—they’re already putting money where it matters, backing their efforts with £60 million (about $81 million). Their plan? To transform underused or overlooked locations into high-powered charging hubs that can keep up with the growing demand for rapid charging in the heart of cities.
Their first facility is set to open on August 20 in South London. With 12 charging bays delivering up to 300kW each, it’s designed to serve taxis and commercial EVs that need quick, reliable charging options without the hassle of hunting for available spots.
