Kalle Rovanperä’s stage times had made from grim reading.

Estonia was supposed to be his reset. It was where, no matter what, it would all come together year after year. Nothing could beat the feeling Kalle could find aboard a Toyota in Tartu.

Two weeks ago that feeling was nowhere to be seen.

His message at the finish was clear: if I can’t do it here, I can’t do it anywhere.
