Damon Hill has rejoined Williams 30 years after winning the 1996 Formula 1 world championship with the team.
Hill beat Williams team-mate Jacques Villeneuve to the 1996 crown, having already found out he'd be replaced by Heinz Harald Frentzen for 1997.
World champion Hill joined Arrows for 1997 before spending his two final years with Jordan, which included Hill leading Jordan to a memorable 1-2 at the Belgian Grand Prix.
After a post-F1 career that included being a regular pundit for Sky's F1 TV coverage, Hill now co-hosts the new Stay On Track podcast for The Race, alongside three-time F1 race winner and friend Johnny Herbert.
In the 30th anniversary year of his world title win, Hill has rejoined Williams as an official ambassador, alongside Villeneuve and three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick.
The 2009 world champion Jenson Button left his role as a Williams ambassador this past winter, having moved to Aston Martin to fill a similar role.
Hill said: “Williams is truly a special place for me and where some of the defining moments of my career took place.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of this sport and to have achieved what I did, and returning as an ambassador is a real privilege.
“It’s an opportunity to celebrate the team’s history and help to support its legacy and future.”
Team boss James Vowles called it “an honour” to welcome Hill back to the team.
He added: “Few individuals represent this team quite like him.”
