We are all familiar with the stresses and strains building a classic Ford can cause, but all the hard work and effort is worth it when you can finally stand back and show off your handiwork to likeminded Blue Oval fans for them to admire.
But in the modern world it’s almost impossible to keep anything a secret, so when your project is finally finished and wheeled out for the first time people have already seen umpteen photos, countless social media posts, and various updates on the build’s progress; somewhat lessening the impact when it eventually does make its public debut.
Well not here. The Classic Ford Show will return on 11 May at the South of England Showground and is set to host a collection of recent project builds (in some cases so recent that they are still being finished the night before the show!) that have been deliberately kept low key and off the radar, and haven’t been anywhere near a website, forum or social media page! So when the covers are pulled back it will be the first time anyone has seen these amazing classics.
The collection of Great Unveiling is always a diverse mix, representing the best the classic Ford scene has to offer. It’s safe to assume these amazing builds will cover everything from concours restorations to highly tuned monsters.
Make sure you grab a good vantage point by the Classic Ford stand at the show nice and early, as this is one of the highlights of the show and always draws in huge crowds to witness the covers coming off!
