The event paid grand tribute to two-time Formula 1 World Champion Jim Clark, marking 60 years since his spectacular 1965 racing season. His legendary Lotus cars—the 32B, 33, 35, and 38—came together on track for the first time ever. Fans and friends joined the celebration of Clark’s racing genius and connection to the land, featuring touching moments including a tribute by Sir Jackie Stewart.

Every morning kicked off with a parade of over 100 Volkswagen Type 2 Split Screen vehicles, celebrating 75 years of this iconic model. The procession crisscrossed the circuit with classic ambulances, camper vans, and trucks, topped by a special Type 2 wrapped in art by renowned American Daniel Arsham, who drove his design through the weekend.

Alfa Romeo’s centenary of winning the first-ever Manufacturers’ World Championship took center stage, with a lineup of historic racers ranging from Grand Prix monsters to prototype legends. Cars like the 158 ‘Alfetta’ and the Tipo 33 thrilled visitors with their storied heritage.

The event also commemorated the 80th anniversary of VE Day, recreating the joy and unity of 1945 with military and commercial vehicles parading to the track. A traditional British street party on the Pit Straight paid a warm and poignant tribute to the nation’s resilience and celebration.

The racing was fierce and sustainable, powered by environmentally conscious fuels in thirteen heart-stopping races. Legendary drivers including Jenson Button, Jacques Villeneuve, Dario Franchitti, and Tony Kanaan battled it out in classic GTs and saloons. Highlights included the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration’s mix of AC Cobras, Jaguar E-Types, and Porsches, won by Tom Ingram and Richard Kent, and the St Mary’s Trophy’s thrilling saloon car battles with Gordon Shedden and Chris Ward claiming top honors.

The Revival Style Stage curated vintage glamour with appearances by Dita Von Teese, Pattie Boyd, Penelope Tree, Richard E. Grant, and more. Workshops and live demos at the Revive & Thrive Village celebrated sustainability and heritage crafts, making this year’s event as much about culture as racing.

Bonhams auctioned exceptional classic cars like the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato Sanction for over £1 million and a rare 1962 Jaguar E-Type Competition Roadster for nearly £144,000, highlighting the fervent collector interest at the Revival.

Elsewhere, the spirit of the Summer of Love came alive with a psychedelic tribute, and Rolls-Royce marked 100 years of the Phantom with an extraordinary lineup including the royal Phantom IV.

VIPs and celebrities including Jason Momoa, Richard E. Grant, and Tim Peake mingled with racing fans, adding star power to the historic weekend.

The Goodwood Revival also proudly supported King’s Trust International this year, a charity founded by His Majesty King Charles III to fight youth unemployment worldwide.

The 2026 Goodwood Revival is scheduled for September 18-20, with tickets already on sale at goodwood.com.
