The 2025 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps was won by Oscar Piastri of McLaren, marking his sixth victory of the season. The race was delayed by approximately 80 minutes due to heavy rain, starting behind the safety car and running a total of 44 laps in changing wet-to-dry conditions.

Piastri secured the lead early on after the start, making a decisive pass on teammate Lando Norris through Eau Rouge and Kemmel Straight, which proved pivotal for the race outcome. Norris finished second, 3.415 seconds behind, delivering a strong McLaren one-two finish that extended Piastri's championship lead to 16 points.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc completed the podium in third place, holding off Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who finished fourth. Mercedes' George Russell came in fifth, followed by Williams' Alex Albon in sixth and Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton in seventh after a recovery drive from 18th on the grid.

The race saw no retirements, with all 20 drivers finishing despite the challenging conditions. The dry track emerged by around lap 12, allowing drivers to switch to slick tires and settle into race pace.
