After medical evaluation by a specialist, it has been confirmed that the Thai rider has sustained an injury to his lateral collateral ligament in his right leg and it will require surgery, which is scheduled for next Tuesday.

The IDEMITSU Honda LCR team say they’ll continue to provide updates on his condition and recovery, with no word on any potential replacement riders as yet.
