Italy’s Carabinieri marked a key moment on October 27, 2025, as they officially received the Maserati MCPura supercar in a ceremony held at their headquarters in Rome.
The handover ceremony saw the presence of top Carabinieri officials alongside Stellantis executives, highlighting a strong partnership between the Italian police force and national automotive excellence. This Maserati is the first of its kind to join the Carabinieri, reflecting both trust in the brand’s reliability and the need for precision vehicles in crucial medical transport tasks.
Equipped for urgent missions, the MCPura, alongside the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio also delivered during the ceremony, will support the rapid transport of organs, blood, and medical supplies. The vehicles have been outfitted with police livery, emergency lighting, and customized compartments to securely carry critical cargo.
General Commander Gen. Salvatore Luongo emphasized that these vehicles represent more than just speed and style. They are practical tools that enhance the Carabinieri’s ability to deliver emergency medical services swiftly and safely. Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa echoed this sentiment.
