BHP Fuel Fest 2024

We headed to the South West’s biggest and most anticipated car show. Here are some of the highlights from BHP Fuel Fest 2024!

As soon as we entered Westpoint Arena our senses were overwhelmed by a stunning display of performance and modified cars at BHP Fuel Fest 2024. Supercars, show cars, race cars, and even high-performance motorcycles graced the showground. With a wide variety of clubs displaying, the mix and diverse range of cars on show was a fantastic spectacle.

And that was just outside. When we ventured into the main hall to witness the flawless array of Show & Shine cars, we were blown away by the quality and sheer blend of cars on display. The best vehicles from the UK and Europe competed for the sought-after ‘Best in Show’ title, showcasing an array of automotive perfection that was truly breathtaking.

Modified modern BMWs and Nissan GTRs sat in harmony next to classic fast Fords and even a stunning Porsche 914. Show-stopping Sciroccos and Golfs complemented rally legends like a Lancia Delta and even a Mk1 Golf that lapped the Nurburgring in 8min 20secs! Each car told its own unique story, leaving us captivated by its individuality.

One of the most impressive things at BHP Fuel Fest was the world-class live-action performances that continued throughout the day. The cars on show were stunning, but the live-action demos really got the adrenaline pumping.

The drifting demos had us on the edge of our seats, looking on in awe as drivers pushed their cars to the limits. BMX flatland showcases wowed the crowd with jaw-dropping stunts, while motorcycle stunt teams amazed us with their fearless acrobatics. Elsewhere, the freestyle motocross and BMX ramp competitions kept the huge crowds entertained.

BHP Fuel Fest proved to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family. The event’s family-friendly atmosphere created a welcoming environment for everyone. There was even a designated ‘chill zone,’ where families with younger children could relax and enjoy a break from the exhilarating action. The food village offered a variety of delicious treats, and the kids had a blast on go-karts and bouncy castles.

BHP Fuel Fest provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow car enthusiasts. With over 75 car clubs on display, owners indulged in shared passions and exchanged stories and insights with like-minded individuals. Whether part of an owners’ club or an enthusiast club, the camaraderie among attendees added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
