Audi is joining the Formula 1 grid for the 2026 season. The German automaker is unveiling its official livery today, the fourth team to do so this year. And you can watch the launch event right here.
Audi is replacing Kick Sauber on the grid. The automaker acquired the Sauber Group a few years ago in a bid to return to the racing series, with plans to develop its own unique power unit.
Audi's F1 launch event takes place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Berlin, Germany. The livestream starts 1:00 PM EST—or 10:00 AM PST.

Motor1's Take: Audi returning to Formula 1 just as the regulations change is exciting. It'll be fighting for podiums against Cadillac, an entirely new team, while Red Bull will campaign engines developed in partnership with Ford Motor Company. Anything is possible this season.
