The photo featured in this article was provided on request by the owner as they were not the driver at the time.
The owner was surprised to see that the registration was totally unreadable so wrote to Wellington pointing out the issue and requesting a court hearing should they disagree.
The correspondence was ignored, the owner’s rights circumvented and the ticket is with MoJ for enforcement.

As you can see from the photograph you sent, the registration of the vehicle in question is unreadable. I am advised that there if a photograph is illegible and that if it has to be enhanced and manipulated then it is not enforceable.
This photograph is illegible. If you do not agree then I request a court hearing.
