The event began with the Modified class, where Baki driving the Animal took first place by nearly clearing the river obstacle. Fender Bon secured second, and Carl Pulson in Iron Man grabbed third. This class ran different tires than the Unlimited class, adding strategic variety to the competition.
In the Unlimited class, drivers tackled six demanding tracks filled with technical gates, steep climbs, and challenging hairpin turns. Thor Pulson showed intense power delivery, overcoming tricky rock obstacles and some penalties for gate touches and reversing. Other notable drivers included Mino, who delivered strong performances, and Falerenosson (“Batman”), who experienced a rollover but demonstrated resilience.
Veteran Daniel Gibson showcased his expertise by skillfully managing tight turns and penalties while keeping his vehicle upright. Another legend, Gizley Kunarson, suffered mechanical failure late in his run, highlighting the sport’s brutal demands on machinery.
Andre Swinsson, known as “The Cowboy,” lived up to expectations with consistent speed and precision, positioning himself as a strong contender. The competition featured powerful vehicles such as Outlaw and Raptor, both boasting over 1,000 horsepower and representing the cutting edge of offroad technology.
Drivers navigated jumps, tight corners, and muddy terrains while balancing speed and penalties to maximize scores. After three tracks, Purely led the standings, closely followed by Atli Yamal in the Raptor and Ingvar Johanson, with Thor Thormar also competitive.
