23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports opened an antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR. The trial in that case is set to begin on December 1, 2025.

NASCAR counter-sued both teams. On Tuesday, Judge Bell dismissed NASCAR’c claim.
The court noted that NASCAR failed to ‘sufficiently establish that it suffered the required ‘antitrust injury’.
“We respect the Court’s decision, though we respectfully disagree with its legal reasoning. Our priority remains resolving this matter quickly so all parties can focus on Championship weekend and continuing to grow the sport.”
NASCAR added, “Should a resolution not be reached, we intend to appeal the decision at the appropriate time.”
