FIRST LOOK: Singer’s Sweet Spot? Red Bull Chassis, Pop-Up Lights, Cosworth 4.0!

Singer’s latest creation, the Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined by Singer, represents a new “sweet spot” for the renowned restoration brand. Limited to just 100 units, this car combines Singer’s meticulous craftsmanship with cutting-edge engineering from Cosworth and Red Bull Advanced Technologies.

The project starts with a classic Porsche 964, which is stripped down to its bare shell before being rebuilt. The car features a turbo-style wide body, available with or without a rear wing, and pop-up driving lights—a nod to 1980s Porsche design. The stance and proportions have been obsessively refined, with 18-inch retro wheels and careful attention to the relationship between tire, wheel, and bodywork.

A major highlight is the chassis, developed with input from Red Bull Advanced Technologies. Their expertise ensures the coupe achieves exceptional torsional stiffness, using carbon fiber reinforcement and advanced dampers to create a structure that’s both rigid and responsive.

Under the rear deck sits a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated flat-six engine developed with Cosworth. This engine produces 414 bhp and features innovations such as variable valve timing (a first for an air-cooled 911), water-cooled cylinder heads, and a titanium exhaust. The engine is designed for strong mid-range torque and high-revving character, while still meeting modern emissions standards.

The interior is fully customizable, with options for leather, corduroy, and bespoke finishes. Each car is engineered at Singer’s UK base and assembled in the US, allowing for extensive personalization. The package includes both touring and track-spec components, such as a removable rear wing and spare wheels and tires.

Singer’s Carrera Coupe is aimed at enthusiasts who appreciate both the analog purity of classic 911s and the benefits of modern engineering. With its blend of heritage, innovation, and exclusivity, this new model is positioned as a future icon among reimagined Porsche 911s.
