Next Forza Game Confirmed for 2026 Release During Xbox Showcase

The next Forza game is set for a 2026 release as Xbox prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary, Phil Spencer has confirmed.

Get ready, racers! Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirms "the next Forza" is slated for a 2026 release.

The next Forza game, expected to be Forza Horizon 6, was confirmed during the Xbox Games Showcase and even given a release date by the CEO of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer.

While the game was not announced via an official trailer or preview, it was briefly mentioned by Spencer as he spoke about Xbox's 25th anniversary.

According to Phil Spencer, the next Forza game will be released in 2026 to coincide with 25 years of Xbox.

Speaking during the Xbox Games Showcase, Spencer said:

Although Spencer's teasing remark fell short of revealing the name of Forza's next installment, it is widely expected to be Forza Horizon 6, considering Horizon 5 launched back in 2021 and Forza Motorsport was released more recently in 2023.

Despite its lack of monthly content drops and updates, Horizon 5 continues to be played by millions worldwide, and even topped the PlayStation 5 sales charts following its release on Sony's platform in April this year.

That's all we know about the next Forza game so far, but stay tuned to racinggames.gg: the best place for Forza coverage.
