The 2027 Frontier will arrive at dealerships later this month and Nissan has announced pricing will begin at $32,490. That’s a slight premium over last year’s model, which began at $32,150.
The big news is the introduction of a new Sport Edition. It’s based on the SV trim and costs an additional $990.

Drawing inspiration from the PRO-4X, the package adds a lightly revised exterior with a black grille, mirrors, and lower front fascia. They’re joined by “Sport” bedside graphic as well as black 17-inch wheels wrapped in Hankook Dynapro all-terrain tires. The model also has an aluminum skid plate and LED fog lights.
Interior changes are minor, but the cabin has black upholstery, yellow contrast stitching, and yellow accents.
Additional changes are limited, but the PRO-X and PRO-4X now offer a Moonroof package for $675. The $1,640 PRO Convenience packages have also been upgraded to include a Qi2 wireless smartphone charger. Lastly, the color palette includes a new Alpine Metallic option.
While the updates are minor, the Frontier continues to be offered in King and Crew Cab configurations. Entry-level Crew Cab variants come equipped with LED lighting units and 16-inch alloy wheels. Buyers will also find a 7-inch cluster display, an 8-inch infotainment system, and a four-speaker audio system.
Despite being pretty basic, the truck comes standard with Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Intelligent Cruise Control. They’re joined by High Beam Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Rear Automatic Braking.
All models are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine developing 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS) and 281 lb-ft (381 Nm) of torque. They’re connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired to an optional four-wheel drive system.
