Marc Marquez's 100th Grand Prix win in Hungary saw the factory Ducati squad reach an impressive MotoGP milestone

100 Grand Prix wins for Marc Marquez, and 100 MotoGP wins for Ducati’s factory team. It’s safe to say it wasn’t a bad Sunday at the office for the Ducati Lenovo Team at Balaton Park, as the reigning World Champions celebrated a double dose of success in their centenary year.

Two icons of MotoGP reaching the magic tonne on the same day seemed fitting. Ducati Lenovo Team chose the #93 to join them in 2025 to partner 2022 and 2023 World Champion Francesco Bagnaia, creating a MotoGP dream team. And what a dream it was last season. The greatest comeback in MotoGP history was rolled out, as Marquez returned to title-winning ways, having clinched 11 Sunday victories before his crash in Indonesia. A simply unbeatable rider and machine combination.

Those 11, coupled with Bagnaia’s two, saw Ducati's factory team race to 99 MotoGP wins. Then, after Marquez’s injury and Aprilia Racing’s impressive rise, the dominant team suddenly endured a dry spell. Neither Marquez nor Bagnaia were able to win a Grand Prix in 12 attempts until the MotoGP circus rolled into Balaton Park.

UNSEEN: “It’s as if someone’s writing history” - Marc Marquez and the Ducati Lenovo Team celebrate 100-win milestone

A first GP win since Misano last year and taking a landmark victory, take a look behind the scenes of some special celebrations at Balaton Park

A longer wait than anticipated, but finally, the 100-victory mark was notched up in some style. It was Marquez’s 12th win donning Bologna red, which places the World Champion fourth on the list of winners in the factory Ducati team - two behind Andrea Dovizioso, 11 away from Casey Stoner, and 19 adrift of current teammate Pecco.

Since Loris Capriossi’s win at the 2003 Catalan GP, the first for Ducati's factory outfit, 10 other riders have clinched victory representing the Italian marque's famous red. And of the 11, three of those have pocketed the ultimate prize for Ducati: the MotoGP World Championship - those being Stoner in 2007, Bagnaia in 2022 and 2023, and Marquez in 2025.

Number of wins for Ducati's factory team:
31 – Pecco Bagnaia
23 – Casey Stoner
14 – Andrea Dovizioso
12 – Marc Marquez
7 – Loris Capirossi
3 – Jack Miller
3 – Jorge Lorenzo
3 – Enea Bastianini
2 – Danilo Petrucci
1 – Troy Bayliss
1 – Andrea Iannone

Marquez and Bagnaia will aim to add to that tally in 2026, before 2027 births a brand-new era in MotoGP. Congratulations to Ducati for the milestone achievement, and here’s to more battles between the Bologna bullets and the rest of MotoGP’s elite in this enthralling campaign.

But hold on, before you go. To celebrate Ducati's 100th factory team win, we've made the first, 25th, 50th, and 75th victories free to enjoy:
