The Champ is back! The #93 heads for Mugello to get back in the saddle and back to the track

Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) may have been out of the last two Grands Prix with injury and surgeries but he’ll be back in action at Mugello as he makes his return. The six-time MotoGP World Champion underwent two separate surgeries – one for the foot injury at Le Mans but another, already planned prior to the French GP Sprint fall, on his shoulder. Surgeries done, all that’s left is one final medical check trackside on Thursday before he’ll roll out of pitlane on Friday morning.

The Ducati Lenovo Team issued an update, confirming he’ll be back for Ducati’s home Grand Prix: “Following a positive medical check, Marc Márquez will travel to Mugello tomorrow. He is scheduled for a final trackside assessment on Thursday to secure the fit to race clearance for  the Italian GP.”
