On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series raced at Texas Motor Speedway. Today, NASCAR has issued a big penalty for actions during the race.
Ryan Preece stated over the team radio that he was ‘Done with him” referring to Ty Gibbs. Later in the race, Preece found his bumper and put him in the wall.
Ryan Preece has been issued a 25 point penalty by NASCAR. Additionally, he’s been issued a fine of $50,000.
NASCAR noted Sections 4.3 and 4.4.A: “wrecking or spinning another vehicle, whether or not that vehicle is removed from competition as a result.”

Kyle Busch was involved in a similar situation with John Hunter Nemechek. However, Busch has avoided a penalty.
