Williams is taking its racing story off the track and into the Marvel Universe as part of an unexpected new collaboration.
The Formula 1 team has today announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Marvel.
The collaboration will feature Williams drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, along with team principal James Vowles, starring in a special one-shot comic in which they face off against infamous Marvel villain Doctor Doom.
The story unfolds during an F1 season under threat, with Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow and other Marvel heroes joining forces with the team to save the championship.

The comic will debut with exclusive variants at the Monaco Grand Prix in early June before arriving in comic book stores across the United States in October.
Additional, limited-edition versions will be released at selected races throughout the season, including events at Silverstone, Madrid, Singapore, Austin and Las Vegas.
Fans will get an early taste of the collaboration at the Williams fan zone in Miami this weekend. The activation will include pre-orders for the comic, a large-scale Marvel-themed mural, and an interactive photo opportunity featuring the comic's cover design.
Luke Timmins, director of merchandise and licensing for Williams, said the project aims to merge two global fanbases in a fresh and engaging way.
"Alex and Carlos are already heroes to our millions of fans, and now they get to prove it in print by uniting with the Marvel Super Heroes to save racing from Doctor Doom," Timmins said.
"We are proud to be bringing these two universes together for the first time, and hope it gives fans another way to connect with our team."
The collaboration marks a unique crossover between motorsport and entertainment, blending real-world racing with fictional storytelling.
With activations planned across major race weekends and a global comic release later this year, both Williams and Marvel are positioning the project as a season-long celebration of speed, storytelling and heroism.
The initiative launches at the Miami Grand Prix (May 1-3, 2026), setting the stage for what both organisations describe as just the beginning of a larger narrative spanning the F1 calendar.
