Season four of Amazon's hit thriller series "Reacher" has just been confirmed for a 2026 release, but actor Alan Ritchson is in the news for a different reason. TMZ obtained video of the 6-foot-3 actor trading blows with his neighbor over a dispute involving motorcycles in their suburban Tennessee neighborhood.
The neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, told TMZ that the fight was Ritchson's fault and could have been avoided if the actor weren't speeding through the neighborhood, revving his motorcycle engine, and disturbing wealthy neighbors accustomed to a quieter existence. The two reportedly exchanged gestures on Saturday after Ritchson rode through the neighborhood, but their dispute turned physical the next day.
According to Taylor, Ritchson and two of his sons were riding their motorcycles too fast, which sparked the incident. Taylor reportedly yelled, "Can you f--king stop this please," at the actor. Ritchson allegedly responded by punching Taylor in the face, kicking him, knocking him to the ground, and continuing to hit him "at least four times" while he was down. Local authorities are investigating but have made no arrests.
Taylor said he didn't need hospital treatment after the fight. Meanwhile, Ritchson claimed he wasn't the aggressor, stating he was pushed off his bike twice before engaging with Taylor. He said the video TMZ released doesn't show Taylor assaulting him first. The bike spun in circles before Ritchson could get back on, suggesting it was in gear when dropped, but it's unclear how it fell.
At this point, either account could be accurate. Regardless of who started it, two grown men fighting in their own neighborhood is deeply embarrassing. Part of being an adult is learning to control anger and resolve conflicts without resorting to violence.
